Add Sparkle to Your Space with 3D Paper Stars!

The holidays are almost here, and what better way to celebrate than with 3D paper stars? Using Astrodesigns® Cardstock Starter Pack, I created these simple yet stunning stars that are sure to impress.

These stars are super easy to make but have a big WOW factor! You can string them together on twine for a festive garland or use them as table decor, gift toppers, or even tree ornaments. They also make a unique, colorful gift when added to a ribbon or twine.

No matter how you use them, these stars will add a touch of magic to any celebration, and with Astrodesigns® vibrant cardstock, the colors are sure to stand out!

Supplies:

Step 1: Cut out your template and trace it onto the cardstock. Then, cut out the stars and spikes. You can also use a cutting machine, as Astrodesigns® Cardstock works great with 12” x 12” mats.

Step 2: If cutting by hand, make sure to cut a slit in the center of each spike. To do this, fold the diamond-shaped spike in half and cut from the center upwards, as shown in the photo.

Step 3: Once you have all four spikes, it’s time to attach them to the star. Alternate placing the spikes: one inserted, one not, and repeat. The slit should fit perfectly into the interior of the star from both sides.
