ASTROBRIGHTS PAPERS CELEBRATES THE BRIGHTEST TEACHER 

Astrobrights® Papers, the market leader in color paper, has launched its second annual search for the nation’s Brightest Teacher. The contest gives parents, students, peers and family a chance to recognize a deserving teacher who has created an exceptional learning environment for their students.

Through March 26, people can nominate their Brightest Teacher by submitting a brief description on ColorizeYourClassroom.com. The winner will receive a classroom makeover valued at $5,000, sponsored by Astrobrights and designed in collaboration with the Bright Minds, Astrobrights’ team of education-focused bloggers who serve as brand ambassadors.

Brightest Teacher reinforces Astrobrights’ support for one of its largest consumer groups, teachers. Studies show that color can help increase memory by up to 50 percent and keep students engaged. Teachers use Astrobrights’ vibrant paper to enhance learning in differentiated instruction, memorization, classroom decor and everyday lesson plans.

The winner will be announced the first week of May, which is recognized nationally as Teacher Appreciation Week. The revamped classroom will be revealed in August during back-to-school season. It will also kick-off Astrobrights’ annual Colorize Your Classroom contest, which provides inspiration and ideas for teachers as on how to use color in the classroom to enhance learning.
