Surprise your sweetie, teacher, or Galentine with a ‘mugs and kisses’ coffee treat for Valentine’s Day!

Decorate coffee mugs at home, bring a to-go coffee treat to your teacher, or give a bag of roasted coffee beans to your best pal. Print my five favorite coffee puns -- Mugs & kisses, Bean my Valentine, Bean my Galentine, Crazy for brew, and Perfect blend -- on the Astrobrights Sprinkle pack color paper like I did or choose your favorite Astrobrights color combination. Decorate with my ‘cupid’s arrow’ coffee stirrers and XOXO hugs and kisses hearts.

Supplies:

• Kathy’s ‘mugs & kisses’ Valentine’s Day printable template (PDF)
• Astrobrights Sprinkle pack color paper in Bubble Gum, Punchy Peach, Lift-Off Lemon™, Merry Mint, Lunar Blue™
• Wooden coffee stir sticks
• Washi tape
• Coffee mugs or to-go cups
• Bag/box of fresh coffee beans
• Glue stick
• Hole punch and string
• Scissors (optional: craft knife and self-healing cutting mat)

Valentine’s Day coffee mugs and to-go cups with ‘cupid’s arrow’ stir sticks

Step 1: Download my printable templates (PDF). Print my XOXO patterned templates and printed hearts and heart halves onto Punchy Peach and Merry Mint; print full hearts onto Lift-Off Lemon, Bubble Gum, and Lunar Blue.

Step 2: Cut out the hearts and heart halves.

Step 3: Cut a strip of my XOXO pattern to wrap around your mug (my strip was about 1.25” tall and 11” wide) and attach it to the mug with washi tape. Add hearts using washi tape.

Step 4: To make the ‘cupid’s arrow’ coffee stirrers, cut out my arrow fletching (the back end of the arrow) and attach it to the wooden coffee stir sticks using washi tape.

Step 5: Glue my XOXO patterned half hearts onto the full hearts using a glue stick. Punch holes and hang them to make a garland or use them to create framed artwork.

Bonus!: You can use disposable coffee and hot drink cups for fun on the go. 

Coffee beans gift for Valentine’s Day

Step 1: Print my XOXO patterned template onto Punchy Peach or Merry Mint.

Step 2: Cut a rectangle from the XOXO pattern to cover the coffee bag’s label; attach using washi tape.

Step 3: Decorate the coffee bean bag/box with cut-out hearts in your chosen sayings.
